Christmas Price Indexonline
For the past 26 years, PNC Bank has produced the Christmas Price Index — an educational tool that tracks the price of gifts in the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas." It's a fun way to learn about consumer spending and economic trends. We brought the 2009 Index to life with costumed kids, each personifying one of the twelve gifts.
The kids presented the Index in an animated/live action video set in a whimsical "Winter Numberland."
The site continued the DIY aesthetic and allowed visitors to watch the video, explore a historical chart of the Index, and learn some history about each of the gifts featured in the song.
